Your new role
My client is seeking a highly skilled and proactive Third Line IT Service Desk Technician to join its dedicated IT team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the stability and performance of the organisation's IT infrastructure by resolving complex technical issues escalated from first- and second-line support.The successful candidate will serve as a subject-matter expert in advanced networking, server management, and SIP-based telecommunication systems. They will support business-critical operations and contribute to maintaining high service levels across the organisation.

What you'll need to succeed

* Solid knowledge of both Linux and Windows operating systems
* Familiarity with FreeSwitch and AWS cloud infrastructure
* Strong understanding of SIP, VoIP, VoLTE, STUN, and firewall bridging
* Experience supporting Node.js applications and diagnosing server issues
* Proficiency with SIP analysis tools like Wireshark or packet tracers
* Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
* Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Azure Administrator or similar)
