About Rap Interiors

Rap Interiors is a well-established design and refurbishment contractor based in Maidstone, Kent. We specialize in projects across the South East and are known for our commitment to building strong, lasting relationships with our clients. As a team, we foster a supportive and close-knit culture. We are currently expanding and are looking for a skilled Project Manager to join our team.

The Role

As a Project Manager, you will take full ownership of your projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for:
• Operational and commercial ownership: Managing all aspects of the project, including subcontractor procurement, scheduling, and cost management.
• On-site leadership: Leading the on-site team across multiple projects, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.
• Collaboration and communication: Working closely with our surveying, estimating, and design departments to ensure project success. You'll also be the main point of contact for clients.
• Time requirements: The role involves some early morning travel for site visits, depending on the project location.

Is This You?

We are looking for someone who lives within a 20-mile radius of our Maidstone office and possesses the following skills:
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills: You will be the key link between our team, clients, and contractors.
• Strong organizational skills: You must be proficient in time management, paperwork, cost management, and understanding on-site build queries. Microsoft office suite skills are essential.
• Attention to detail: A commitment to a high standard of work and timely snag completion is essential.
• Industry knowledge: Experience in fit-out and refurbishment work is a must.
• Bonus points: Knowledge of JCT and Design and Build contracts is beneficial, but not essential. We are committed to personal development and will provide training.

Qualifications

While we encourage personal development and training, we'd prefer candidates who have some or all of the following qualifications:

• Asbestos awareness
• CSCS
• SSSTS/SMSTS
• PASMA
• IOSH
• First Aid
• Manual Handling
