DUL Laboratories have a vacancy for a Fire Testing Technician at their site in Barfrestone, Nr Dover, Kent, CT15 7JG.

Main Duties /About the role:

Required to perform fire resistance tests on various products in accordance with relevant BS, EN and ISO Standards using various fire testing furnaces.

Monitoring fire test rigs and associated software and report any errors or malfunctions to the manager.

You would be using the equipment to complete tasks such as measuring, analysis and recording of data, this role is pivotal to the success of the fire testing procedure.

Recording accurately the precise calibrations, the readings, actions and output of the equipment and manage the documentation required to ensure the calibration activities are carried out correctly.

It would help in this role if the candidate had some experience in Structural Engineering.

About You:

Demonstrable experience within a similar role.
Excellent mathematical and numeracy skills.
Degree Educated or experience within a Structural Engineering role.
Strong communicator, written and verbal with excellent attention to detail.

Full Time Position 08.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday.
