Overview
A highly regarded and modern Chartered Accountancy practice is looking to recruit a NEW Accounts Senior into their Heathfield office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, forward-thinking firm that places real focus on staff welfare and work-life balance.
The role will involve hands-on preparation of accounts for a varied portfolio of clients, with exposure to audit work where applicable. Prior audit experience would be beneficial, but it is by no means essential.
This role is Monday-Friday.

Salary is dependent on experience/qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed.

Duties
Preparation of statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Preparation of corporation tax computations and supporting schedules
Liaising directly with clients and acting as a key point of contact
Assisting with the review of work prepared by junior members of the team
Supporting and mentoring junior staff as required
Building strong internal relationships with managers and partners across the firm
Ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with agreed deadlines
Exposure to audit assignments for the right candidate

What we're looking for
A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate 3+ years UK practice experience in an accounts-focused role. You may be AAT qualified, part-qualified or qualified. Exposure to audit would be advantageous but is not essential. You must live within 1 hr of the office location.
