Weekend Care Assistant – Guaranteed 16 Hours per Weekend

We are currently recruiting an experienced Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to clients in their own homes across Folkestone, Hythe, Hawkinge, Cheriton, Lympne, Romney Marsh, Dover and Capel.

Hours Available:
• Guaranteed contracted hours: 16 hours per weekend
• Choice of:
o Every weekend, or
o Alternate weekends
• Additional weekday hours may also be available if desired
• Care rounds operate between 7am – 9pm, worked in smaller scheduled rounds
(Please note: this is community-based home care, not a care home role.)

About the Role:
As a Weekend Care Assistant, you’ll provide essential support to vulnerable adults within the comfort of their own homes. No two days are the same, and the relationships you build with clients can make a genuine impact on their wellbeing and independence.

Duties may include:
• Personal care and assistance with washing and dressing
• Medication support
• Meal preparation
• Companionship and emotional support
• Assisting clients to appointments or in the community
• Promoting independence and dignity at all times

Essential Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must:
• Hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle
• Have a minimum of 12 months home care experience
• Be able to communicate confidently in English (spoken and written)
• Be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS check before employment
