Our client, a well-established and highly respected organisation based in Orpington, is looking to recruit a Float Secretary to provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support across multiple departments. The Role
As a Float Secretary, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the business by providing flexible support wherever it's needed. You'll work closely with different teams, building strong relationships while delivering efficient and professional administrative assistance.
Key Responsibilities
Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support across various departments.
Managing diaries, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings.
Arranging travel and preparing meeting documentation where required.
Producing professional correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents.
Maintaining accurate electronic and paper filing systems.
Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Supporting colleagues with ad hoc administrative projects and business initiatives.
Assisting with general office duties to ensure the smooth running of the organisation.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience as a Secretary, Legal Secretary, Administrative Assistant, or in a similar office-based role.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
A flexible, positive, and team-focused approach.
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Able to work independently while remaining a collaborative team player.
Previous legal secretarial experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
