We are currently recruiting for a temporary Food Production Operative to join a busy food production team based in Medway Towns.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is reliable, hardworking and comfortable working in a chilled food production environment. Following a successful 12-week period, there may be the opportunity for a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

* Preparing, slicing and packing meat products
* Working within a chilled production environment
* Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
* Carrying out lifting and manual handling duties where required
* Following all company health and safety procedures
* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
* Working Monday-Thursday 07.30-15.30 and Friday 07.00-15.00- no weekends.

Full PPE is provided, including safety boots.

Requirements

* Comfortable handling meat products
* Able to work in a cold/chiller environment
* Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling and lifting
* Reliable, punctual and hardworking
* Good work ethic and a positive attitude
* Previous food production experience is beneficial but not essential
