Business Analyst – Must have a strong technical understanding

Are you an experienced Business Analyst who can translate complex business and technology needs into clear, traceable requirements?

We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join a Technology team of a purpose-driven financial services team. This is an excellent opportunity to use your technical analysis expertise to support business-critical technology change within a collaborative and values-led environment.

Working closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, architects, testers, operational colleagues and third-party suppliers, you’ll define, analyse and validate the business, technical and data requirements that support strategic and operational objectives.

You’ll gather and document functional and non-functional requirements, maintain end-to-end traceability, develop process and data models, review solution designs and supplier artefacts, and establish measurable acceptance criteria and success measures.

We’re looking for:
• Experience as a Business Analyst within technology change or project delivery. You’ll bring strong requirements analysis skills alongside experience of non-functional requirements, integrations, data quality, migration, reconciliation and controls.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential, including the confidence to facilitate discussions and constructively challenge requirements and proposed solutions.
• Experience within banking, financial services, accounting or customer systems would be advantageous, as would SQL/data analysis skills or a relevant Business Analysis qualification.
