My client is now looking for an I.T. Support Technician to join their team of three.

This role will suit someone who will be happy working in a close knit environment, and part of a small friendly and supportive team.

A pro-active professional IT support company working with small to medium business clients in West Kent. They are seeking a talented IT Support Technician to join their team. You will be required to work in a wide variety of roles including Support Engineer, Helpdesk Support Technician and Project Developer. Therefore being able to think on your feet and have the ability to solve problems. Key Duties

Implement new systems and upgrade of existing systems

Resolve IT system issues and problems

Recordwork performed accurately

Document work processes and update knowledge base

Provide helpdesk support to clients

Working Style

Able to travel; support requires work to be undertaken at client sites, via remote tools and in the workshop

Good interpersonal skills face to face and over the telephone

Ability to work without close supervision in accordance with company guidelines

Team player who is creative in their thinking

Adaptable; willing to get involved in other areas of the company such as marketing and sales

Skills and experience

Minimum of 9 months experience in an IT support role

Knowledge of Windows operating systems, both pc and servers

Knowledge of computer hardware, software, security and networking

An IT qualification such as A+ or MCSE

Bonus: Mac OSX knowledge and mobile technology

English and Maths GCSE grade C or above Preferred:

Driving licence and use of own car.

Negotiable basic salary circa 23-25k depending on experience
