My client has progressed rapidly over circa 20 years, and have begun to do quite a lot of business in Europe and North America in recent years. With plans to open up an American office later on, providing new opportunities for some employees the opportunity to work overseas.

An opportunity has arisen for a new division for my client. It will be leveraging off all their relationships and existing customers into finance and commercial. This will be supported by a researcher who is currently mapping the market and gathering analysis.

The purpose of this role is to:

Establish the Finance and Commercial Practice Sector Division and be seen as a recognised supplier for interim Finance and Commercial (F&C) professionals across the whole Public Sector, with a core focus within Central Government

To become recognised as a Subject Matter Expert within Interim Finance and Commercial across the Public Sector, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate to a wide network of hiring managers and interims within the market.

To further build my clients network and contact base of interim professionals through our extensive channels

Service our existing customers with their need for interim F&C professionals

To proactively represent Senior Interims to relevant clients in an established network of organisations.

Utilising my clients extensive and well established customer base, leverage off their relationships to engage with Senior stakeholders within the Finance and Commercial departments.

With the support of the research team, identify and target areas of growth for new customers acquisition

Attain and maintain a personal and corporate reputation for excellent customer service and complete integrity.

Promote the commercial interests of the business by securing high quality, repeatable business at appropriate margins.

Become recognised as a leading 'goto’ person in the niche area and to further establish the business as a leading player in the market.

Focus on driving sales in order to achieve significant placement levels, which in turn will lead to a strong financial team contribution and an increase in personal income/career enhancing opportunities.

Establish a successful, credible and professional Interim F&C Practice

Work with the other Public Sector Practice Managers to identify key relationships to leverage off into F&C.

Gain referrals and recommendations from other key interims and warm customers

Gain a thorough understanding of the characteristics, trends, technologies and players in that market.

Working across multiple channels to establish an extensive and high quality network of appropriate candidates in the given niche market.

Creating and maintaining a highly organised database of candidates and clients.

Diarising, following up and staying in touch on a timely basis with the database of candidates and clients in order to establish credibility in the market, coupled with strong working relationships.

Identifying key customers - be they established or emerging companies - and engaging with those via high quality Business Development activity to introduce the candidates and services of the business.

Winning instructions to fill contract assignments from companies in the given niche market, at appropriate fees/margins.

Gaining a thorough understanding of clients’ business needs and recruitment requirements by taking high quality job specs, via client meetings or by phone.

Identifying suitable candidates from either the existing network / database or via the other available channels. Contacting and thoroughly qualifying and briefing them to produce a high quality shortlist.

Presenting a carefully screened and shortlisted to the customer to secure interviews.Managing the resulting interview process - briefing/debriefing all interested parties

Negotiating and closing offers and performing high quality proactive aftercare, leading up to start date, during the on boarding process and for the agreed period of time.

Generating new sales leads wherever possible, from conversations with candidates and using contact with existing clients as an opportunity to develop and win further business.

Providing high quality Account Management to existing customers to grow the business market share, to secure referrals and to win additional, long-term business.

Participating in bidding, tendering and presentation processes where necessary to win new customers or assignments.

Collaborating closely with colleagues to create further business opportunities, either within your business area or across other divisions

Producing business plans to guide the growth of the given business area.

Producing progress reports on any aspect of the role as required by management.

On an ongoing basis, to continually develop and enhance both market knowledge and show an active interest in developing personal recruitment skills and abilities.

Strive to perform the job to the very best of ability at all times.

Excellent negotiable basic salary uncapped commission and benefits
