A great opportunity for an experienced operative with experience within packhouse/warehouse of Fresh ProduceJob Purpose: To Ensure the efficient flow of product to and from operational areas, Facilitating effective communication between Stock Control, Production Management, Supply Chain Team and Warehouse department. Duties & Responsibilities:Production *Receive stock on to the Production lines in an efficient and timely manner *Ensure that the Productions lines have a continual flow of product*Prepare the receiving of stock to minimise down time. *Ensure the correct stock is received *Focus on the counts, label information is accurate and liaise with internal with stock team with any discrepancies *Pallets are put away in a timely manner *Keep the production area flowing always *Help facilitate the timely dispatch of product to achieve depot dispatch times *Load vehicles in accordance with the load, despatch planoEnsuring all product are scanned and recorded through the various systemsoOffice admin of despatching paperwork oAssist with the training of new Warehouse ops/ Agency temps.oComplete training sign offs for new starters / skilled areas.o Floor leaders in terms of Safety/ Attitude and knowledgeo Stepping up to support Warehouse management team o Assist with Daily/ Monthly Safety Audits oDrive continued Workplace improvements /Efficiency of areas oFloor leaders in terms of Safety/ Attitude and knowledgeGeneralAny other duties as reasonably requested by the company or representativesRelationships: Directly responsible to:Production Shift Manager Direct Reports:Porters
