Trainee Embroiderer/ Screen Printer
An excellent opportunity to join a growing successful local company. We would like to hear from anyone who has previous experience as well as those who want to learn new skills of machine embroidery and printing. We are looking for an ambitious hardworking person to work within our customisation team who is willing to learn a new skill and work within a friendly team to achieve the company goals and aspirations.
We are looking to fulfil this position in early January with an initial 3 month trial period and if successful the candidate will be offered a full contract.
You must have sufficient transport to get to work, candidates without will not be considered.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm including morning and afternoon breaks as well as a lunch break. Part time hours would be considered for the correct person
Opportunity of overtime or shift-work when required.
Salary will depend on experience and would be discussed if the applicant is successful in being offered an interview.
Main duties will include:
• Become proficient in the operation of embroidery machines.
• To produce high quality customisation for printed and embroidered work and sports clothing.
• Operation of Manual and Automatic Screen Printing Machines
• Use of computer specialist design software.
• You will ensure production meets quality standards and any faults are identified and dealt with accordingly.
• Assistance will be necessary in other areas of the company when requested.
• Full training in all aspects will be given.
