We are looking for a number of candidates to work as high care operatives in a fresh produce packhouse, based just outside of Canterbury. You MUST have transport because there are no public transport routes.
The work will be cutting, washing, prepping and packing fresh fruit and vegetables, due to the nature of the product you will be working with, the area is chilled to fridge temperature. You must be comfortable working in cold temperatures, have a good eye for detail and be able to work with delicate products without damaging them; you will be handling knives and packing machinery.
Your job will also be partial QC work as you must check the product as you work to ensure it meets standards.
The shifts will work on a four day on, four day off rota, one of the shifts will always be 6am to 6pm and the other will have start times between 6am and 10am, you must be available to work full shifts and weekends due to the rota.
All of these vacancies are temp to perm, when you complete 12 weeks you will be offered a full time contract direct with the client. We have immediate starts available so please send your C.V. over now or call 01303 851133.
