Cyclepods design and install innovative bike and scooter parking solutions to this growing sector of industry and we are currently looking for a full time Product Installer to join our team. The work involves installing cycle shelters and cycle parking facilities with all necessary training provided. This is a hands-on role working mainly outdoors on a wide range of projects including schools and construction sites, and a wide range of commercial, and public sector applications. We are looking for candidates with good mechanical and practical skills who are keen to work to our high standards.
On our smaller projects, you will work alongside one of our experienced Installers, on our larger projects you will be working as part of a team of four to six people.
This is a full time permanent position, working 40 hours per week. Much of our work is local to our offices in Westerham in Kent, but at times it is possible you will be required to work away for a few days at a time with overnight stays in hotels.
Full clean driving licence preferred. This position is subject to a full DBS check.
Tools, PPE and work transport will be provided.
Hourly rates are £10 to £11.50 per hour, dependent on experience.
Overtime is often available.

Overview
You are employed as a Product Installer to install cycle and scooter parking, including shelters where required. This work will involve preparing the area for the installation, ensuring safe systems of work are observed and tidying the site when the installation has been completed. You will be required to have and maintain your CSCS registration at all times. You will be expected to represent the company in a positive way at all times.
Tools, work vehicle, PPE, and training (including CSCS) will be provided by Cyclepods.

Specific Tasks
• Deliver and install Cyclepod products to the agreed standards
• Make sure customers receive correct products as per your Installation Form
• Report to your Line Manager, or a Director, any site issues which have arisen during installation
• Ensure all paperwork relating to installs are completed correctly, including getting delivery / installation forms signed off by customers
• Accept, unload and check stock deliveries, notifying the Operations Manager or Sales Order Processing of any errors or damage
• Pick up stock from suppliers
• Complete any paperwork as required by the Company in relation to the installations undertaken
• Complete checklists as required by the Company in relation to your job role
• Prepare and load products and tools onto vehicles at the warehouse
• Prepare install sites including digging out and concrete laying
• Ensure the warehouse, store areas and yard are left tidy, safe and secure at all times
• Ensure products and tools are stored in an appropriate manner
• Report any damaged products or parts to the Operations Manager or Sales Order Processing Team
• Report any damaged tools to the Operations Manager, Installations Co-Ordinator or Office Administrator
• Make sure the company vehicles are tidy and clean at all times
• Ensure your company tools and equipment are properly used, stored and maintained
• Report any problems with company vehicles, tools and equipment immediately
• Report any gross misconduct within the team which you witness
• Ensure the safe delivery of products by correct packaging, handling and driving
• Be up to date with product information so you are knowledgeable if asked
• Promote the company and products in a positive way at all times
• Ensure you do not leave your work site / work without the job being completed unless this has been agreed by you Line Manager
• Set up and take down exhibitions and events
• There may be times when you are required to work Saturday / Sunday
• You will be required to stay away from home due to the location of installations, this will be paid for by the Company.
