An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced CNC Programmers/ Setters / Operators - 3/5 axis to join a precision engineering company with over 45 years experience in a high speed machining, fabrication and welding of aluminium, stainless steel and plastics.

The Role: CNC Programmers/ Setters / Operators - 3/5 axis

Machine tool setting

Interpret, produce and understand engineering parts to drawing specification, fixtures and moulds with high quality using various materials as laid out in the customer's specification

Experience in operating, setting up and programming machines to start production at optimum efficiency

Maintenance of the machines, cleaning, filling with oil/ grease and preparation of coolants and maintenance of their levels

Intermediate inspections of machined parts and inspection of own work

Making of manual programs and editing programs

Health and safety compliance at all instances and maintain clean and safety working environment



Skills / Experience: CNC Programmers/ Setters / Operators - 3/5 axis

Competent in a variety of programming methods including CAM systems and experience in setting and operating CNC Milling m/c's

Competent with machining to high precision manufacturing

Programming experience ideal

Knowledge of Alphacam / Heidenhain



40 hour week - overtime available
