We are looking for a Quality Technician who is highly motivated, open to develop their skills and knowledge that is looking for development and career progression.


The Quality Technician will be responsible for maintaining interpretations of the quality system requirements by ensuring documented practices meet the business integrated management system standards.


What you will be doing:

Collaborating with colleagues & suppliers to determine or rectify non-conformities of materials, products or processes.
Resolve quality issues by identifying problems, determining the root cause, examining solution options & implementing appropriate corrective actions.
Facilitate and promote the use of appropriate problem-solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and successful corrective actions.
Participate in first article inspections (FAI) for supplied materials or products.
Provide engineering support to operations ensuring consistent application of quality techniques.
Recommend and implement enhancements to the quality system that result in improved corporate quality performance, increased customer satisfaction, and/or simplification of processes to reduce costs.
Develop the annual audit plan, perform necessary duties as an Internal Auditor and provide ongoing communication/reporting of results.
Support the controlled document system to ensure quality certification requirements are met.
Support product approval administration where required.
Monitor the Periodic Review Matrix to ensure repetitive quality requirements are met.
Manage quality metrics and present findings and recommendations to the management review team.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

ONC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Internal auditing experience.
Certificate courses for manufacturing
Good verbal and written communication skills.
An analytic approach to problem solving.
