National Account Executive/Assistant Buyer

£30K Plus OTE

Our client, one of the UK's leading World Food distributors located in East London, is currently looking to recruit a National Account Executive/Assistant Buyer to join their established and expanding team.

You will be working Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm. This role will be paying £30K Plus OTE.

National Account Executive/Assistant Buyer - Duties & Responsibilities

* To develop and win new national multiple account business
* To drive business growth
* To maximise generation of sales
* To manage long term customer relations to ensure repeat business
* To provide advice and to manage promotions and merchandising for your clients
* To review reports and identify business development opportunities
* To work closely with other departments to ensure accounts are running in line with customer expectations
* To work with the marketing team to help formulate brand strategies
* Data analysis for sales performance, customer activity and promotional forecasting
* Order forecasting and arranging deliveries for key customers as well as keeping on top of stock holdings in 3rd party warehouses
* Building strong internal and external relationships within the industry

National Account Executive/Assistant Buyer - Person Specification

* Previous FMCG experience
* Ideally strong Account Management experience however this role would also suit someone from a procurement, buying or supply chain background who is keen to get in to National Accounts
* The ability to source new customers
* Competent with Excel (V-Look up and Pivot tables)
* Competent creating PowerPoint presentations
* Customer management skills
* Outgoing and confident personality
* Demonstrate initiative
