We are looking for an experienced, preferably time served, CNC Milling Programmer/Setter/Operator for a client's vertical machining centre. Candidates must be confident and maintain high standards under stress.

The applicant should be fully conversant in Fanuc (or similar e.g. HAAS) and be capable of programming and setting apart from drawing. A good knowledge of fixture design and work holding is required, as the majority of jobs are recurring and need to be “operator friendly “.

An excellent understanding of materials, tooling, cutting speeds and feeds is essential, as is the ability to work efficiently and to close tolerances. The perfect candidate will be able to work interdependently as well as individually, and should always remain consistent and motivated through new, innovative or challenging projects.
