• Night Shift / Night work with cover required also on the Day Shift as per business requirements.
• Responsible for the loading of all vehicles according to driver load plans
• Scanning and planning of all routes on Dynamics (AX) so computer literacy is an advantage.
• Scanning of all customer delivery cages through RFID Cabins to ensure that all stock items to be dispatched are correctly allocated to the right customers.
• Sorting the cages on the floor into routes ready for loading.
• Action the transport service list to ensure customer requirements are met for empty cages, reject bags and tag requests.

REQUIREMENTS

• The candidate must be hardworking.
• The person must be able to work on your own and as part of a team.
• The individual needs to be committed and reliable.
• The job is predominantly a night shift role, but the candidate will be required to work day shifts also on a cover basis as per business requirements with given notice.
• The role requires working on Sundays when on the night shift with a Saturday rest day. When working on the day shift the role requires you working on a Saturday with a Sunday rest day.
• The candidate must be flexible in terms of work pattern and able to change shifts at given notice as per business requirement
• To undertake any other duties as necessary, when instructed by the Logistics Manager or Transport Supervisors. Flexibility is a must.

Remuneration for the role is £7.83 per hour which is due to go up in April 2019, with 29 days holiday allowance per year.
