We are currently recruiting for a Reservations Executive with strong organisational skills and a keen eye for detail along with the determination to produce results in a pressurised work environment. An outgoing personality coupled with a good sense of humour will see you fitting into a team of experienced professionals.
Key Duties:
• Pro-actively seek to develop and maintain full knowledge company product ranges
• Answer and deal efficiently with a high volume of phone calls and e-mails
• Processing reservations and understanding special rates and contracts
• Handling customers and suppliers in a prompt, friendly and efficient manner both by telephone and in writing.
• Providing booking advice and assistance for our customers and suppliers.
• Ability to multi task and take on additional tasks as required by management
• Ensure all confirmations and bookings are processed correctly
• Process client payments
• Deal with customer/supplier issues and complaints
• Attending trade nights and fam trips to develop product knowledge
• Liaising with suppliers
• Working as a team with all employees, ensuring your fellow staff members have additional support as and when required
Key Requirements:
• Excellent customer service skills with a confident telephone manner
• Confident and passionate about learning and succeeding in the role
• The applicant needs to have strong commercial acumen, be adaptable, reliable and flexible, with a responsible attitude and possess the ability to respond to tight deadlines.
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Excellent organisational and planning skills.
• The ability to build effective relationships
• The ability to deal with competing priorities effectively
• Self-motivated and good working under pressure whilst maintaining a cheerful disposition
• A good knowledge of Word, Excel. Training will be provided on our in-house system
• Strong numeracy and written and verbal communication skills (English)
• The ability to handle multiple projects, whilst maintaining meticulous attention to detail and a “can do attitude”.
• An enthusiastic and strong team player
• Additional languages desirable particularly German or French as is a knowledge of UK and Northern European cities
