Insurance Account Handler,

Barker Munro are currently working with a local insurance broker who are expanding their motor broking unit and require a new business Insurance Account Handler.

As the Insurance Account Handler, you will be required to work on Motor insurance and will be involved in general account handling duties such as inviting renewals, chasing instructions, MTA's, claims and also working closely with the Account Executive to service the client's requirements and focus on potential new business opportunities. There will also be involvement in underwriting, working under a delegated authority. This will involve negotiating with insurers, rating renewals, rating MTA's, whilst also looking at risk selection. The Insurance Account Handler will also be involved in event attendance, client visits, cold calling and lead generation.

This is a fabulous role working in a busy fast paced insurance broker who are looking for someone to handle high volumes of clients whilst delivering a first class service in what is their largest area of growth so far this year.

Knowledge and awareness of working in a commercial motor or commercial insurance environment would be essential and of particular interest is the ability to understand Motor insurance.

There’s growth within the company and as an insurance account Handler, you will be joining the team at a great time as they look to grow the team and there will be promotion opportunities in due course.
