IT Applications Support Manager
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 pa
Location: Flexible, you can choose to be based from our office in Southwater, West Sussex or Chatham Kent

One of the largest care sector specialists in the UK providing consumables, medical equipment, furniture and fit out services to the care industry, is currently looking for a Business Applications Manager with a broad range of skills to join the team.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience and a successful track record in the implementation and support of ERP systems, with in-depth knowledge of all functional areas of a business and the ability to translate business requirements into really functional technical solutions.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm. Reporting to the Head of IT you will collaborate with key business stakeholders to specify and implement best practise business application solutions for the company worldwide and identify opportunities to improve and optimise existing systems, services and associated processes to help the company achieve its strategic objectives.

The Responsibilities (Including but not limited to)
• Provide strong management of all business applications.
• Manage implementation and maintenance of API or similar integrations with Enterprise level ERP system and 3rd party applications.
• Work accountably with the IT&T Team, key business stakeholders and suppliers to ensure all accountable projects and project activities requiring IT involvement are delivered on time, to budget and quality.
• Manage the on-going evolution and development of existing applications, infrastructure technologies and services in alignment with key business objectives.
• Analyse and provide foresight in potential risk to other departments of the business by implementing new features or system amendments.
• Ability to create or edit workflows, add fields, link records, customize forms, create custom record sets in an ERP system ensuring all system co dependencies are analysed prior to implementation.
• Support work colleagues, customers and suppliers, understand their requirements, and help advise on how technology can deliver business benefit and translate into working solutions.
• Communicating with customers, suppliers, and 3rd party IT service suppliers.


The Candidate will have:

• 3 years experience in similar role
• excellent database management skills
• ability to collaborate in uncertain and changing circumstances;
• excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• ability to understand complex information and requirements, and be able to explain in simple terminology
• excellent communication, leadership and people management skills;
• excellent organisational and commercially orientated prioritisation skills to delivery project software solutions
• flexibility to adapt plans on business dependencies
• ability to work to tight deadlines alone and as part of a team, and able to train other people;
• passion for IT and technology.
