Based in the stunning setting of the Precincts of Canterbury Cathedral and St Augustine’s Abbey – a World Heritage Site – The King’s School is one of the oldest and most prestigious Schools in the country with an enviable record of academic excellence and achievement.

The King’s School requires a flexible person to undertake a wide range of security and access control duties at our St. Augustine’s site and across the School Estate. The position involves a high degree of interface with academic and support staff, parents, pupils and members of the general public so excellent communication, interpersonal skills and presentation are a pre-requisite.

The successful candidate will be required to work an average of 38 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off day/night rota over 7 days, all year round. Whilst previous security experience would be desirable and the incumbent hold a current SIA level two licence, it is not essential. However, you must be willing to attend training to achieve this qualification. In addition a full UK driving licence is required for the role.
