S Simmonds & Son Ltd. require a full time Customer Service Advisor based in Paddock Wood on a permanent contract for 38.75 hours per week.
Reporting to the Customer Services Manager, you will be the initial point of contact for all School Wear related communication by phone and email. You will be dealing with enquires from customers, colleagues and our suppliers.
Main Duties
Answer all customer service calls and emails, record each one and forward on to the appropriate member of staff.
Assist in providing training and development to new and seasonal staff to ensure their work is accurate.
Provide the Customer Service Manager and senior staff with management information.
To ensure the company maintains its company objective (quality, value and service)
Key Attributes & Skills:-
Our successful candidate will have experience of working in Customer Service and ideally for the retail sector although not essential as training will be given.
Maths and English to GCSE /NVQ L3
Computer literate and able to confidently uses MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Excellent customer service skills
Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to positively influence the outcome of decisions.
To have an organised and analytical approach to work to accommodate the wide range of demands from the role.
You will need to have good communication skills both written and verbal in order to communicate with individuals both internally and externally.
The ability to work on your own initiative is key.
In return, we offer;
A permanent contract. You will be working 5 days over a six day. We currently work one Saturday in 4 during our quiet time. We are seasonal business so extra hours are required during the summer months. These can be paid or accrued for additional holiday.

28 days holiday (including bank holidays) and the ability to earn additional holiday each year.
