S Simmonds & Son Ltd have a part time vacancy for a Retail Sales Assistant to be based at our Distribution Centre in Eldon Way Paddock Wood

The hours are 23.25 worked as three days over Monday to Saturday. Working alongside the shop Manager looking after our customers wishing to purchase school uniform for our 70 plus schools. Our business is seasonal so additional hours at our busy times are available.

Our customers call in or have pre booked an appointment for a full uniform fitting. We also have customers coming in who are using our on line service and wish to collect their items.

You will be expected to deliver excellent customer service and work with the Manager to make the parent and child’s experience an enjoyable one.

Ideally you will have experience in a retail environment but we can offer training to for the right candidate


Key Skills

Educated to GCSE Level / NVQ L3 in Maths and English
Excellent Customer Service skills
Computer literate ability to use word, excel and outlook and our own bespoke programmes. (Training will be given)
To be organised especially at our peak periods.
The ability to work on your own initiative to cover the manager on her days off.
