A Project Engineer is required to join a global manufacturing enterprise based in North Kent.

The incoming candidate is required to lead and manage delivery of strategic capital investment projects (CAPEX) and specific operational process improvements.

Reporting into the Engineering Manager, chief accountabilities will include;

* Manage the overall project scope (scoping, design, development, business case preparation, delivery, installation, commissioning, training, maintenance plan)
* Providing project tracker reports and KPIs to monitor performance, including the identification of risks and proposing options to manage them
* Consideration of the company asset register, supporting Finance to manage this appropriately
* To provide support to other members of the Engineering team or wider organisation, which may benefit from your skills, knowledge or experience.

The successful applicant will be degree educated (Mechanical, Electrical, or Process related discipline) and possess a strong Health, Safety and Environmental awareness. You will have a minimum of five years in a manufacturing process environment. Sound Project management skills are required (ideally using a Stage-Gate type risk approach), as well as having a good awareness of CAPEX (capital) and OPEX (revenue) budgets.
