An exciting opportunity has a risen for an experience Accounts Assistant to join a highly reputable organisation based just outside of Gillingham.
This is a varied accountancy role; therefore the successful candidate should have strong knowledge with all aspects of the finance function, especially Sales Ledger and Credit Control.
This is initially a 6 month contract however there is an opportunity where this could be extended!
* Sales Ledger
* Credit Control
* Assisting with Management Accounts
* Preparation and posting of monthly journals including, amongst others, prepayments, depreciation
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Raise invoices and keep sales day book accurate and up to date
* Occasionally assist the accounts payable department with any administrative tasks including filing invoices, coding invoices, entering payment batch, and expense claim processing.
* At least three years experience working within a fast paced accountancy team.
* Strong experience with Sales Ledger
* Strong experience with Credit Control
* AAT Qualified would be desirable
* Advanced Excel skills.
This is a 6 month temporary assignment available immediately with potential interviews taking place next week!
Salary = £15 - £20 per hour
