We are looking for a talented individual to join our team in leading and managing the shift teams within the warehouse and transport operations.

As one of three Warehouse Area Controllers, some of the key responsibilities are:

Ensuring the safe, effective and efficient operation of warehousing and transport activity at all Paddock Wood locations.

Working pro-actively with the Supply Chain and Production teams as well as other key stakeholders to provide best in class service delivery for our customers

Planning and organising work schedules/arrangements make sure we despatch on time and in full, to customer quality specification and budget.

Promoting a positive culture, demonstrating respect, professionalism and a `can do` attitude at all times; engaging the teams for continuous improvement in performance.

Developing our people to consistently improve business and individual performance; aligning activities, capability and behaviours with business goals.

Experience of building and leading a team that strives for continual improvement in efficiency and effectiveness.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to operate effectively both internally and externally at multiple levels of an organisation.

Proven ability to plan resources, time, budgets and responsibilities
Good IT skills – utilising Microsoft Office packages effectively.
Proactive approach to balancing business and customer needs.
Analytical skills to drive improvement priorities.
Experience of working with SAP
Training in one or more of Management, Safety or Lean methodology
