The job:

My client is one of the South East's largest independent Fire and Security engineering company with several sites across Kent and London. As a Fire and Security Engineer for the company, you will be responsible for the installation and performance of various fire and security systems in both residential and commercial properties. My client is looking for someone that can ideally work on both Fire and Security systems but would look at someone from either discipline with good transferable skills or knowledge of other systems.

About you:

You will have previous experience working on such equipment through a qualification scheme, time served apprenticeship or similar. You will be a self motivated individual with the ability to use your own initiative. Performing effectively and setting your own high standards, consistently achieving them will be important to this role.

You will be/have:

* ECS/CSCS qualified
* Minimum 2 years experience working on installation works.
* Read site drawings.
* A tidy worker with good attention to detail and take pride in your work.
* Have a background working with residential and/or commercial systems.
* Able to communicate well with clients.
* Skilled in fault finding and carrying out repairs to fire and security installations and control systems.
* Able to remove/replace fire and security systems.
* A clean record for advanced security screening.
