IT Support Manager

Up to £45,000 (dependent on experience)

Car Allowance

Pension Scheme

25 days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays

Monday to Friday 9am to 17:30pm.

Netbox Recruitment are working with a leading software and marketing solutions company based in Gillingham to recruit an IT Support Manager.

About the Role

* To lead and motivate a team of Customer Support Technicians.

* Execute and implement the Support Strategy and target KPI's

* Provide consistent high levels of support

* Actively promote and continually enhance the support function, looking to reduce the total cost of ownership.

* Assess skill gap and create training matrix to ensure support staff are properly trained

* Participate in the recruitment process and interviewing potential team members

* Strategically forecast and plan trends affecting the department and communicate action plans with senior managers

* Handle high level customer escalations

* Working with other Heads of Departments to collaborate and ensure alignment on strategy and vision for the company

The ideal candidate will have:

* 5 years or more IT technical support experience in a manager or senior position

* Full lifecycle exposure and understanding through modern methodologies (Agile)

* Strong written and verbal communication skills

* Strong understanding of support methodologies, best practices and KPI Management

* Experience of utilising IT Service Management systems to effectively manage, allocate and monitor support tasks

* Capable of technical deep dives into reported issues, networking, operation system and applications
