Job title: Production Scheduler/Planner
Location: Queenborough, Kent, ME11 5EL
We are looking for an organised and proactive individual with experience in production/material scheduling and planning to join our Supply Chain Team in Queenborough, Kent.
About the role
Reporting to the Master Production Scheduler, you will be scheduling new planned orders and produce a load levelled plan each week for the bulk and packaging departments which are aligned with customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Analyse the bulk and pack capacity requirements where appropriate on receipt of new planned orders each month
• Interface with production, quality and shipping departments to ensure issues are addressed.
• Identify potential problems or conflicts on work centres that may impact internal or external customers and either resolve these directly or
elevate to the Master Production Scheduler for resolution.
• Maintain material master data views in SAP accurately for planning and scheduling.
Requirements:
• 2 years regulated industry experience in production planning and scheduling.
• A high level of competency in Microsoft Office.
• Is analytical with good problem solving, written and verbal communication skills and demonstrates a “can-do” attitude.
• An effective team member who can pro-actively identify and resolve planning problems efficiently.
• A sound knowledge of cGMP.
