HR Adviser
Barker Munro recruitment are working with this expanding insurance business who due to the workloads, now require an additional HR Adviser for their Head office.
The business is a growing concern, with an expanding staff base and who have grand plans for the business over the coming years.
As a HR Advisor, you will have a passion for HR and Employee Relations. You will be responsible for handling employee relations and supporting the HR tea with disciplinaries, grievances, welfare meetings and advising our managers on the companies' policies and procedures plus ad-hoc HR duties.
As HR Adviser, you will be involved in general day to day advice and support to management and employees, explaining procedures and policies whilst also being involved in various areas of employee relations. General administration duties are also part and parcel of the role, issuing documents and keeping the internal HR systems up to date. You will also be exposed to employment issues such as issuing employment related documentation, employment offers, employment contracts and letters whilst also being involved in the candidate pre-screening process. You will be involved in a number of other HR functions including the recruitment process and working with external agencies to release job vacancies and working with them to coordinate interviews. The HR team work together so you will also book meetings, prepare meeting minutes, issue training and recruitment packs and undertake other ad hoc administration duties as required by the department.
To be considered for this exciting HR advisor role you will be empathetic and understanding with the business needs at the heart of what you do. The business really cares about the staff and people linked to the business and therefore ideally, you must have been working in an advisory role with the ability to handle difficult conversations and have a good understanding of emotional intelligence.
