BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (Outbound Sales)

At Your Travel Group, we are looking for an experienced BDM to complete our small but ever-growing talented team! This is an opportunity not only to join our team and manage existing processes, but to play an important part in molding the future of our company.

A bit about us; we are a young and dynamic business travel agent who look after our staff in parallel to our clientele, who receive the highest level of service possible. We sustain our diverse client base with low fares which we pre-negotiated with airlines and by ensuring our standard of service remains high. There is nothing we cannot offer our clients for their business trip, be that chauffeurs, conference suites, private jets or multi stop itineraries. We ensure our clients are well looked after, their team is available 24/7 and all queries are answered instantly. Our office is based in Maidstone, Kent.

As a BDM we are looking for:
• An excellent communicator, with exceptional type skills and a telephone manner that is second to none!
• Somebody self-motivated, driven and organized
• Advanced skills in all Microsoft packages
• A strong background in outbound sales and new business development. Within a business travel background would be advantageous,
but is not necessary.
• A proven track record in creating and managing an outbound pipeline.
• A proven track record conversion rate.
Your initial duties will include:
• Leading a small but growing team to help build the engine room of the business
• Managing the full process of taking a lead, converting, presenting to the client and delivering a professional hand over to the sales team
• Meeting the sales targets within given deadlines
• Maximizing new business development opportunities
• Account management, which involves maintaining strong and long lasting relationships with the clients that you and your team have
secured
• Generating your own leads by using initiative, creativity and drawing from your own experience
