ACCOUNT MANAGER/ INTERNAL SALES EXECUTIVE

SALARY: Salary up to £26,000 (OTE equivalent to 25% of Salary)

Strong earning potential in role

HOURS: 7:30am - 4:30pm or 8am - 5pm (Monday to Friday)



Netbox Recruitment is working with highly reputable, globally recognised, continually growing and rewarding company whom deal directly with the Construction and Building sector. Our client boasts an excellent office environment in a picturesque part of Kent. This is a great time to join the business as they go through a period of expansion, thus we are looking for a true Account Manager/ Sales Executive Professional; articulate with proven experience working within a Sales environment.



The company has a true family feel; you will be joining a tight-knit and friendly team at a leading company with a globally recognised brand.

This role involves managing key accounts, develop relationships and attract new business; achieving annual revenue and profit results from an assigned geographic customer portfolio in support of the company objectives and growth strategy.



Responsibilities of the Account Manager:

* Develop customer relationships to grow account spend through upselling and cross-selling.

* Spend 60% of each day on campaign-led discussions with customers to introduce new products, methods or information.

* Analyse spending customers and what products they are/aren't selling.

* Show appropriate team behaviours through acting as an exponent of the company mission, vision and values.

* Call the Field Sales Person for your territory twice daily to communicate on calls/visits, wins, challenges and opportunities.

* Use call planning to focus on high potential accounts and prospects.

* Spend 1 hour per week reporting and reflecting (weekly report on Friday included) and 2 hours per week planning call and customer strategies.

* Execute the sales and marketing strategy to target key accounts.

* Spend 40% of time on campaign-led calling to key accounts to grow store penetration through uncovering their challenges.

* Negotiate and deliver customer proposals to convert back-to-back customers into stockists

* Prepare and deliver 25 proposals per quarter to B2B customers.

* Convert 5 B2B customers to stockists per quarter.

* Update all systems and CRM when any contact is made with a customer or prospect.

* Have 40 Meaningful Sales Interactions per day to deliver the above responsibilities.

* Report directly to the Head of Sales who is responsible for coaching and personal development of the team.



Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

* Industry or other relevant sales experience is preferred

* Understanding of sales methods into re-sale channels is important

* Experience of delivering training in technical products and ability to understand detail

* Proficient with Microsoft Office and cloud-based CRM

* High energy, driven attitude

* Consistent organisational and time-management skills

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills especially empathetic listenin

* Passion to build relationships to change a onetime customer into a promoter
