Sand Casting Estimator
Sittingbourne
Up to 25K DOE
Main duties and responsibilities
The role involves preparing estimates using existing programs.
Projects must be completed in compliance with customer defined parameters.
Interpret 2D drawings and CAD data
Able to review and understand technical specifications
Liaise with internal personnel, sub-contractors and customers regarding content of RFQ and subsequent preparation of estimates.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, self motivated, versatile and work well on their own or as part of a team.
Computer literate (Microsoft Office Excel and Word minimum)
Engineering background – preferably in the foundry industry
Able to interpret 2D drawings and CAD data
Able to review and understand technical specifications
Able to demonstrate an excellent attitude to health and safety and quality assurance
