Following a recent restructuring of the admin team a part time position as a Sales & Marketing Administrator has become available.

Based at our office in Kings Hill in Kent you will be part of a small team, working 12.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Salary of £9 hr x 4.5hrs = £10,530 per annum equivilant to £18,720 for a full 8 hour day. Position also enjoys benefits including - health care, auto enrolement pension, 28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) Perkbox Employee Benefits, Life Assurance, performance related pay for exceeding monthly sales targets and a non-contractual bonus scheme.


Main purpose of job:

• To support Admin Team Leader and technical staff in providing a high-quality professional service to clients
• To receipt, validate and acknowledge projects entering data on the Barnbrook system.
• Act as lead within the office on quotes for small projects
• Send marketing and promotional materials out, develop sales pipeline to meet sales targets.
• Assist Managing Director & Senior Surveyors in producing larger quotes
• Maintain sales and marketing data
• Assist with general administration duties when required
• Answer Telephone

Duties:

• To process and register building control applications and inspection records and assemble files.
• Typing, checking and issuing of notices and accompanying documentation.
• Assist with co-ordination of site inspection requests
• Telephone answering.
• Ensure sales targets are met and report any deviations
• Process orders via email or phone
• Check data accuracy in orders and invoices
• Contact clients to obtain missing information or answer queries
• Develop Maintain and update monthly sales report and database
• Communicate important feedback from customers internally
• General marketing and sales activities
• Other duties to help the administration team as required.

The ideal candidate

Essential

• Able to communicate with clients in person and by email & telephone
• Ability to work under strict deadlines.
• Must be capable of working unsupervised including periods of lone working for part of day.
• Knowledge and experience of using Microsoft and other IT packages.
• Be flexible and adaptable to differing tasks.
• Professional, friendly, pro-active approach to work.
• Methodical, neat, fast and accurate worker.
• Keen and self-motivated to achieve targets with a positive attitude
• Good team worker with high level of dedication.
• Qualification in Sales & Marketing or willingness to attend training.


Desirable

• Ideally will have a knowledge/interest in the terms used in building industry.
• Able to understand building plans
• Previous experience of working in Building control or the construction industry.
• Knowledge of Sales & Marketing techniques including use of social media.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001
