HR GO are currently recruiting for a self motivated, driven and passionate Retail Supervisor to join our clients not for profit charity.

About the job:

As a charity retail supervisor, you will be responsible for the effective operation and performance of general charity shops and general retailing. The role is key to ensuring that the volunteer Managers and their teams feel supported and valued at all times. The role requires an adept multi-tasker, who can think on their feet and is prepared to work 'hands-on' with their colleagues and volunteers within the warehouse and shop. Relationship building is central to the role as you will be working closely with a number of volunteers as well as dealing with customer queries.

In addition, as a retail supervisor you will be in charge of receiving, sorting, preparing, pricing and rotating stock. Therefore, you must have a great eye for detail and a good understanding of products as you will be required to make decisions upon the donated goods. As a result, drive high standard of merchandising and a continual flow of stock and ensuring the growth of gift aid programme in key shops.

What skills and experience you should have?

A successful candidate will need to possess the following skills:

* Retail supervisory/ management experience is essential
* Educated to a minimum of GCSE level
* An interest/ experience in fashion
* Experience/ knowledge of the voluntary charity sector would be an advantage
* A creative flair with an eye for detail, merchandising stock to a high standard
* Highly personable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to relate to staff, customers and volunteers
* A self-starter, motivated, articulate
