Teacher of Physics – Gravesend – September Start
Paid depending on experience – Full-time – Temp to perm


Supply Desk is working in partnership with an Outstanding Grammar school in the Gravesend area, sourcing for a Science Teacher with specialism in Physics. The role will be a full-time position and will be commencing in the new academic year.

Experienced Teachers and Newly Qualified Teachers alike are welcome to apply.


The School

The school in question is a Grammar school, graded as Outstanding by Ofsted. The behaviour is marked out as being excellent and the students are highly motivated to learn and are eager to be engaged.

They are a specialist Science College too so they have managed to implement fantastic ICT resources that are a big part of the entire curriculum and has proven to be a huge benefit to the students, especially across the Science curriculum.


The Role
• Planning and delivering KS3 and KS4 Science and Physics Lessons
• Potentially teaching KS5 classes
• Collaborating with the wider Science Department
• Form Tutor and break cover responsibilities

The Ideal Candidate
• Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have a specialism in Physics
• Comfortable teaching Physics to KS4, KS5 would also be highly desirable
• Have experience teaching Science and/or Physics in a UK secondary school
