Working 16-20 hours per week, you will be proactively contacting clients to reduce outstanding invoices.

This role is working for a successful company of accountants and contacting their customers to chase payments which have fallen outside the company’s payment terms. The majority of clients are on a monthly standing order facility for their annual accountancy and tax services. Occasionally an issue comes up with bank account changes or discrepancies and this need to identified quickly, the client contacted and the matter resolved.

Success in this credit control position will come through a professional and highly engaging approach. Building relationships with clients so that they want to pay on time proves to be the most effective method.

Previous experience within credit control and sales ledger allocation is essential. Ideally, you should also have experience of using Xero bookkeeping software.

The position will be based at the accountant’s Canterbury office and there is flexibility over how the working hours are arranged.
