Located just a mile from Tonbridge Town Centre, Barnes Lodge is a stunning Care Home that opened in 2016, set in established trees on the outskirts of Tonbridge.

Barnes Lodge offers person centred care on a respite or permanent basis within our retirement community, and sits alongside Rosewell House Extra Care Housing Scheme, a scheme comprising 59 apartments and promoting independent living for over 55s.

Barnes Lodge highly trained staff are committed to caring for the residents as though they are an extended family member, getting to know them and supporting them to live life to the fullest.

Barnes Lodge is currently recruiting for Registered Nurses to join the night care team supporting our nursing care client group at Barnes Lodge.

Pay: £19.00 - £20.00 per hour

SUMMARY OF MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

To support the Deputy Manager within the Home in providing leadership to the care team and effective 24hr management of the Home within the available resources. The post holder will have a key responsibility for the quality of nursing assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation and associated care staff training issues to ensure that at all times residents receive excellent quality care.

Take responsibility for the safeguarding of adults and follow the Organisations whistleblowing policy as required.

To ensure that the home provides a homely and safe environment to all residents consistent with their dignity, wellbeing and the principles of person centred care.

SUPERVISORY

To have responsibility for the management and allocation of duties to care and support during the course of shift.
