Our Client a Kent based contractor Established in 2012 focusing on Commercial and residential contracts over Kent, Sussex & London taking on a range of projects from High end house refurbs and commercial contracts.

We are looking for somebody who has experience 2 + years’ experience in Estimating or has come from a Surveying back ground.
Role Summary

This position will see you work within our existing pre-construction team based in Aylesham, Kent. You will be directly involved with the procurement and estimation of all new projects and the development of these projects. Guidance on projects to make sure all costings are effective and within a budget which is profitable. Speaking to contractors to send over Tender requests and managing costs within them to gain the best price.

Responsibilities
• Appraisal of tender documents
• Preparation of material and subcontract enquiries
• Attending meetings as required, with clients, designers and quantity surveying teams
• Measurement and Quantification
• Preparation of cost estimates and presentation to senior management for review
• Completion of tender documentation and submission of the tender
Candidate, Qualifications and Experience
• Commercial Management or Quantity surveying Degree (Preferable)
• Full Knowledge of
• Technical construction knowledge is also preferable, with experience of building estimating across a range of sectors including affordable housing industrial, commercial, education and health.
• All forms of contract including traditional, partnering and design & build
• Experience is preferred, although not essential.
