Head of Department for Performing Arts, Permanent vacancy September 2019 MPS/UPS + TLR.

Hays Education are working in partnership with a large secondary school in the Medway area to recruit for a Head of Department for their Performing Arts, to join the team on a permanent vacancy for September 2019. The school is Ofsted rated as 'Good' with Ofsted commenting that, ""The school's strengths in art, performing arts and design technology inspire and motivate pupils"

The post is an excellent opportunity to gain experience leading and teaching performing arts, within an enthusiastic and friendly department. Performing Arts is a popular option choice at GCSE for students, who are hardworking and enthusiastic.

This teaching job requires an experienced candidate, who will hold QTS and have a broad knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 curriculums. It is essential that you have recent experience of working to the UK curriculum and ideally some solid teaching experience that will help you to lead a team. The school are also open in hearing from teachers looking for their next step up in their career.

You will be joining a secondary school with a motivating head, a strong team of teachers, and highly efficient and supportive governors. It's important to this school that everyone is supported in order to achieve their goals.
