We have a fantastic opportunity available to join a dynamic and developing organisation in Maidstone for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join them.
The role will require you to focus on testing and quality, be responsible for creating, maintaining, and executing test automation frameworks; alongside manual testing responsibilities.

You will work in an Agile team to deliver applications and services. The role will need to understand business requirements and associated testing levels based upon requirements received from both internal and external customers.

Test Automation Engineer duties will include:
*Provide test and automation leadership within the team
*Create, maintain and execute test automation frameworks
*Work with business teams to implement pre-production and production automation test strategies
*Work with business teams to define and document Load and Performance test strategies
*Testing of Web APIs and Windows Services by means of automation
*Create, maintain, and execute manual tests where automation is not viable and execute load and performance tests
*Isolate software problems and produce clear and detailed bug reports
*Verify work items against defined acceptance criteria
*Provide clear and concise solution improvements for items under test

Skills and experience required:
*Previous developing experience as a Test Automation Engineer
*Test automation methodologies, practices, and frameworks
*Created both manual and automated test plans and reports
*Load and performance testing
*Background in test automation utilising C# and SpecFlow specifically with Visual Studio
*Knowledge of Mongo, Cassandra, Elasticsearch and SQL database technologies
*Experience of working in an Agile/Scrum environment
*Experience of virtualisation utilising Microsoft Azure, Virtual Machine Manager, and Docker
*Practical experience Azure DevOps
*Experience of automated deployment tools such as Octopus Deploy
*Knowledge of DevOps, Continuous Integration and Automated Deployments
*ISEB, ISTQB or iSQI Certified Tester - foundation\foundation agile level or above
*Excellent analytical abilities with keen attention to detail
*Methodical with excellent organisational skills
*Strong collaboration/team player
*Ability to communicate will all levels of the organisation
*Logically minded
