Temporary - Part Time Reservations and Sales Advisor
9 Month maternity cover – 24 hours per week
£8.50 per hour
Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve works in conjunction with The Aspinall Foundation, a charity committed to protecting rare and endangered animals from extinction through captive breeding and reintroduction programs and is home to the Multi Award-Winning African Safari Experience where guests stay in our luxury accommodation at Bear Lodge, our exclusive Giraffe Cottage and new to the park: Lion Lodge and Tiger Lodge.
We are looking to recruit a dynamic and resourceful Reservations and Sales Advisor to assist the Short Breaks Sales Team on a temporary basis. You will be working in a fast-paced environment which involves inbound and outbound contact with customers by phone and email, to take bookings and promote sales and services offered by the Short Breaks Department.
The ideal candidate must have previous experience in a similar role, with excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills, be able to multi-task and problem-solve, have a good level of numeracy and be IT literate. You will need to be able to react quickly to the business needs and confident to make immediate decisions. Previous experience working with Opera PMS would be advantageous. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
Based at Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve, this is a temporary position for 9 months.
Working 24 hours a week and may include weekends and bank holidays.
