Seasonal Safari Commentator Drivers
Casual hours from June to October
(Salary in line with national minimum/living wage)

Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve is home to the African Experience Safari and we are looking for seasonal Safari Commentator Drivers to take our customers on a journey of adventure, where they can experience close encounters with Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest, Rhino and many more exotic African animals.

We are looking for candidates with a customer service background and a full valid driving licence who can start immediately and work through to October.

Duties will include meeting and greeting guests on arrival; helping load guests on and off our safari vehicles; providing a live talk about our animals whilst driving customers through our African Safari in our large army style trucks with trailers and carrying out daily routine vehicle checks.

You must have the confidence to present live talks to our guests and previous experience of speaking/presenting is necessary. Customer service experience and a valid driving licence are essential. Experience of driving large vehicles would be an advantage, but is not essential, as full training will be provided.

Working hours are variable and scheduled on a rota basis providing cover from Monday to Sunday. Please note that hours need to be flexible to meet the seasonal needs of the business and you will be required to work on evenings/weekends and bank holidays.
