I am working with a client in West Kent near Tonbridge who are looking to appoint an experienced Bookkeeper to their Firm. This role will manage both internal bookkeeping requirements and also those required by their clients. This would suit an individual who has several years` experience of working within an accountancy practice providing their client base with bookkeeping services. This is a friendly and experienced team and they are looking for someone to fit with their culture and ethos. You will need to be a strong communicator, have good interpersonal skills, be well organised and be comfortable working as part of a team.
You will be responsible for:
- Producing bank reconciliations
- Maintenance of sales ledgers
- Credit control
- Maintenance of Purchase Ledgers
- Completion of VAT Returns
- Processing of payments
- Management accounts
- Monthly CIS Returns
ITC Literate essential: Quickbooks, Sage, Xero and Excel
