Personal Injury Negotiator

We are currently recruiting for a personal Injury Negotiator to join a well-known insurance brand in the Kent market.

As the Personal Injury Negotiator, you will be responsible for handling a portfolio of personal injury claims. You will have experience of handling liability disputes, managing customer expectations and a working knowledge and understanding of the Pre Action Protocol, low value MOJ portal claims/non MOJ claims and current case law.

Handling a mixed portfolio of MOJ and non MOJ PI claims, whilst assessing liability is a main part of this role. This role involves a high degree of influencing and negotiating with particular emphasis on conflict resolution and has a pivotal role to play in achieving a balance between the provision of a quality service, combined with the commercial focus required to ensure that the Company meets all targets. Outstanding, customer-focussed service is at the heart of all our claims handling and tactful, sensitive investigations mean we can make the right decisions about the validity of every claim.

It is essential that as the Personal Injury Negotiator you have a good understanding of handling personal injury claims and/or knowledge and experience in handling liability claims. Personal Injury file handling from cradle to grave, ideally in the insurance industry, is also a real benefit.
Good understanding of the Road Traffic Act and legislation relevant to road traffic accidents and injury claims would also be beneficial.
