Eurotunnel manages, maintains and operates the Channel Tunnel Fixed Link Concession between Folkestone and Coquelles, France. Opened on 6 May 1994, the Fixed Link is a rolling motorway which transports passenger and commercial freight vehicles on board Shuttles across the Channel at 140kph, in 35 minutes. It also allows the running of third party passenger and railfreight trains. The advantages of the Channel Tunnel are security, reliability, speed, frequency and respect for the environment.

Eurotunnel is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join its Payroll team. Based at our Folkestone terminal and reporting to the Payroll & Benefits Manager, you will be providing payroll and benefit services to employees and retirees.

Complying with Company policy and employment and payroll legislation, you will be able to demonstrate your ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and customer service.

You will be able to demonstrate the following qualification and experience:

• Qualification in payroll practices and/or at least 3 years’ experience working in a busy payroll environment.
• Experience of integrated HR/Payroll/Time Recording systems is required; experience of SAP/HR/Payroll is an advantage, but not essential.
• A good standard of education with a high level of numeracy and computer skills
• Must be able to demonstrate an ability to work with Excel to an advanced level.
• Experience in pension administration would be beneficial.
• Good customer focus and communication skills are essential as the job involves dealing with face-to-face, written and telephone enquiries from staff members and external agencies.
