Due to an increased demand and continued growth we have an opportunity for a Junior Electrical Estimator to join our existing team at our offices near Tenterden in Kent. This is a role for someone to grow and develop into and as such no previous estimating experience is required as you will be working closely with our senior estimator.
Primary Role
• Complete Prequalification Questionnaires (PQQ), Tenders and Quotes
• Respond to and manage enquiries relating to the above
• Liaise with the Purchasing Manager and suppliers to ensure that we get competitive quotes and excellent service
• Follow up on sales leads
Ideally
• Experience in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and respond to changing demands
• Recognises commercially sensitive or confidential information and can deal with it appropriately
• Within a commutable distance of Tenterden
• Willingness to undertake a range of different tasks within the working day
