Overview
Established in 2013, SEB is a growing brewing services business, bottling, canning and kegging beer for the growing craft brewing market. Based out of St Peters, Thanet our young, growing Company is now seeking a Technical Packaging Operator to help deliver its planned growth.
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this key SEB key role will work cross-functionally as part of the team responsible for beer processing and packaging to SEB’s high quality standards. The successful candidate will have experience of manufacturing processes, following standard operating procedures and communicating effectively as a member of a wider team.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
• Learn, understand and follow standard operating procedures and cleaning standards, operate equipment and machinery and support the shift Supervisor and Brewing Technologist, across the following activities:
 In-take, conditioning and filtration
 Filling
 Labelling and packaging
• Follow and input into quality, health and safety processes
• Complete process records accurately, with attention to detail, and processes to SEB requirements;
• Identify problems and proactively solve them with the input of the senior team;
• Take a zero tolerance approach to cleaning and housekeeping;
• Undertake goods-in and goods-out processes with direction from the Supervisor, ensuring all documentation is correctly checked and signed for and filed; and
• Commit to continuous improvement, embracing change and helping the Supervisor to achieve process improvements in the organisation.

• Packaging or production line experience including food handling and food hygiene regulation

Based in St Peters, Broadstairs, Kent with salary of £8.30 per hour upwards, depending on experience. SEB is recruiting for flexible roles (zero hours) and hours offered will be subject to business volumes.
